DICKENS DAY IN KILKEEL
Join in the festive spirit of a traditional Christmas in Kilkeel Town Centre, and bag a bargain at the same time on Saturday afternoon of the 29th November 2014. The traders dress up in period costume and decorate their shop windows which attracts lots of visitors every year.
There is a range of entertainment on throughout the day including Coffee Mornings, Craft fair and coffee morning held in Reivers House by MAST from 10:00am, Face Painting by Colour Me Happy, Happy Faces in the Lower Square from 2pm, Horse Drawn Carriage Parade starts at 3pm with FREE Balloon Modelling, Frozen’s Olaf and other Disney Characters, Write and Post your Christmas Letter to Santa etc in the Lower Square, Santa Charity Walk & Parade from 4pm in aid of Heartbeat NI – entry £10 and receive a Santa Suit stewarded by the Keel Wheelers Motorcycle Club, arriving at Lower Square in time for Santa to arrive and switch on the Christmas Lights with the Mayor and his helpers.
